BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The rectangular-shape sapphire, within a circular-cut diamond surround, to the similarly-cut diamond sides. Approximate sapphire dimensions: 11.1 by 10.3 by 5.1mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1.70cts, H-J colour, SI clarity. French assay marks. Ring size P. Weight 9.4gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of a resize. The band is a replacement. The sapphire is a medium purplish-blue hue, moderately saturated, with visible colour-zoning. The sapphire has light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges, and typical inclusions.
