BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The rectangular-shape sapphire, within a brilliant and baguette-cut diamond surround, to the brilliant-cut diamond sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Weight 3.9gms.
Overall condition very good. Sapphire very patchy medium to light blue and almost colourless, well saturated to barely saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions, some straight colour zoning can be seen under magnification. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Some fairly large light and dark inclusions can be seen very easily in the diamonds under magnification. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Ring size O. Stamped 18ct, partially indistinct.
