BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The cushion-shape sapphire, within an old-cut diamond surround, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct. Ring size N. Weight 3.2gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Sizable nick to band. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Sapphire slight uneven dark to medium blue to blue green, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Fine surface scratch to sapphire. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
