A ruby, sapphire and diamond dress ring. Designed as two alternating rectangular-shape sapphire and ruby rows, with brilliant-cut diamond line sides, to the grooved and tapered band. Signed 'Gio Caroli' to outside of band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Italian marks. Weight 11.1gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Wear to the white metal plating. Diamonds well matched. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Sapphires are a well matched dark blue hue. Rubies are a well matchedmoderately deep slightly purplish red hue. Good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. One ruby with small nick. Ring size L 1/2.
