A ruby, diamond and synthetic ruby ring. The circular-shape ruby and old-cut diamond line, to the rectangular-shape synthetic ruby line sides and tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct, J-K colour, SI clarity. French assay marks. Weight 14.2gms.
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear. Ruby bright medium pinkish-red, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical light coloured inclusions easily visible under magnification. Ruby in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to some girdle and facet edges. Synthetic rubies well matched. Synthetic rubies bright medium pinkish-red, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Synthetic rubies in fair to poor condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges, four have noticeable chips. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen with magnification. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasions. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment. Ring size O.
