A ruby and pearl cluster brooch. The oval-shape ruby, within a similarly-cut ruby and pearl double surround. May be worn as a pendant. Central ruby accompanied by report number 5776-3284, dated 15th October 2015, from the GCS, stating that the ruby has no indications of heating. Length 3.6cms. Weight 8.3gms. Pearls untested.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Pearls well matched, they have a light cream body colour, displaying pinks and greens, significant blisters and blemishes visible to most. Pearls untested. Rubies pinkish red, with a good saturation of colour, some typical inclusions visible with the unaided eye. The attached jump ring does not match the pendant and appears to have been added at a later date. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
