* A ruby and diamond fairy brooch. The rose, rectangular and brilliant-cut diamond fairy, perched atop a calibre-cut ruby sphere. Total diamond weight 1.13cts, stamped to mount. Total ruby weight 2.67cts, stamped to mount. Length 5.4cms. Weight 10.4gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Rubies medium pink red, fairly well saturated, with x clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Stamped 18k. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
