A ruby and diamond dress ring. The oval and rectangular-shape ruby cross, within a rose-cut diamond pave-set surround, to the plain band. French assay marks. Weight 6.8gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Band shows evidence of resize. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Some diamond replacements. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Some diamonds chipped. Rubies medium pinkish-red, well saturated, with fairly good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Principal ruby approximate dimensions 5.5 by 5.2 by 3mms. French assay marks for platinum stamped to the outside of the band. Ring size o. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
