BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A ruby and diamond dress ring. The circular-cut diamond, within a square-shape ruby surround, to the single-cut diamond foliate sides and knife-edge band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Ring size N 1/2. Weight 3.4gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Significant pitting to the band. Diamonds well matched. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Rubies are not all set flush. Rubies are a well matched deep medium purplish red hue, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Partial stamp mark, illegible.
