BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A ruby and diamond dress ring. Designed as a stylised bow, the oval-shape ruby collet centre, with old-cut diamond curved sides. Estimated total diamond weight 1.50cts. Weight 10.4gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Band slightly out of shape. Band shows evidence of a resize. The ruby is a dark red hue, well saturated, with moderate inclusions, light surface scratches and abrasion to the facet edges. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are drawing a slight yellow hue, with small inclusions, some with small chips. Ring size N1/2.
