A ruby and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape ruby, within a brilliant-cut diamond border, to the baguette and brilliant-cut diamond surround. Estimated total diamond weight 2.85cts. Weight 18.3gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Ruby medium slightly purplish pinkish-red, fairly well saturated, with poor clarity and typical inclusions some of which are surface reaching and may affect the future durability of the stone. Stone in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Ring size J. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
