A Queen Anne small silver porringer, of typical form with oblique fluted lower body rising to an embossed rope-twist girdle bordered by a stamped floral motif, crested, initialled and twin scrolling handles. Hallmarked William Fleming, London 1704. Height measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm), weight 4 ozt (76 grams).
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Solder repairs to the joins of the handles. Minor dents. Hallmarks somewhat rubbed but legible.
