A plique-a-jour enamel wasp brooch. The graduated blue plique-a-jour enamel, articulated wings, to the textured body and limbs with blue enamel highlights. Length 5.4cms. Weight 10gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Enamel with few, light surface scratches. Stamped 750 to the pin with maker's mark of three interlocked circles. Wasp wingspan 5.4cms. Length of body from stinger to antenna tip 3.4cms.
