A platinum diamond single-stone ring. The brilliant-cut diamond, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Diamond weight 0.70ct, engraved to band, estimated H-I colour, SI1-SI2 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 6.3gms.
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear. Slightly heavier abrasion to the band. diamond slightly loose in the setting. Diamond bright and lively. Colour graded within the limitations of the mount, actual colour grade may be higher. Small dark coloured inclusions can be seen through the table with magnification. Diamond in good condition. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment. Ring size L1/2.
