BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A pair of sapphire and diamond floral ear studs. Each designed as a circular-shape sapphire cluster, within a single-cut diamond petal surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. Diameter 1.6cms. Weight 7.2gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Sapphires medium dark blue, moderate saturation, with profuse inclusions that affect the passage of light through the stones. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Several surface reaching inclusions which appear as chips. With fixed posts for pierced ears.
