A pair of ruby and diamond earrings. Each of openwork design, the circular-shape ruby, to the brilliant-cut diamond scalloped edge surround, and similarly-cut diamond oval shape border. Estimated total diamond weight 1.50cts. Length 2cms. Weight 8.4gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Rubies well matched. Rubies medium slightly pinkish-red, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Small light coloured inclusions can be seen to most diamonds fairly easily under 10X magnification. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Fixed posts and hinged backs for pierced ears. Stamped 18K. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
