A pair of mid 19th century gold gem-set ear pendants. Each designed as an oval-shape garnet quatrefoil, with circular-shape colourless paste highlight, to the scrolling surmount and tapered drop. Length 5.6cms. Weight 3.3gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. One tapered drop is significantly dented and discoloured. Garnets medium slightly redish-purple, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
