• Lot Description

  BID ON THE-SALEROOM

  
  A pair of mabe pearl, diamond and seed pearl cluster earrings. Each designed as a mabe pearl, measuring 13mms, within an alternating old-cut diamond and seed pearl border, to the old-cut diamond surmount. Two seed pearls deficient. Estimated total diamond weight 2.30cts, I-J colour, SI clarity. Length 2.2cms. Weight 17.5gms.
  
  Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. A seed pearl is missing to each earring. Each earring also has one split seed pearl. A crack can be seen to each one. The durability of these seed pearls is impaired. The mabe pearls are well matched. Each has a cream body colour with silver over tones and minor blemishes to the surface. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. With fixed posts for pierced ears and hinged back security fittings.
