A pair of late Victorian silver ashtrays, each of circular form with beaded pierced border decorated with scroll motifs and raised enamel panels. Hallmarked William Hair Haseler, Birmingham 1898. Diameter measures 8 cm, gross weight 43.2 grams.
Both ashtrays display some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some small losses and areas of damage to enamel, also some pitting marks. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's marks a little rubbed but still legible.
