A pair of George III silver sauce ladles, in Fiddle pattern with engraved monograms to terminals. Hallmarked Edward Lees, London 1808. Length measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), weight 3.2 ozt (99.7 grams).
The ladles appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use. Minor dints/bumps. Some pitting marks to the bowls and some heavier wear around the edges but they have generally faired well. The hallmarks appear a little rubbed but still clearly legible. Maker's marks are partly worn.
