A pair of George III silver sauce boats, the oval form raised on three lion mask paw feet, rising to the scalloped rim and high scrolling capped handle. Hallmarked London 1762 with the maker's mark C.H. Maximum length measuring 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm), gross weight 21.9 ozt (683 grams).
In good overall condition. Of heavy gage silver. The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The feet have compressed into the body slightly on one. No personal engravings. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
