A pair of early 20th century gold peridot and ruby ear pendants. Each designed as a pear-shape peridot, within an oval-shape ruby scroll and foliate surround, to the oval-shape peridot similarly designed surmount. Ear fittings deficient. Length 6.1cms. Weight 18.5gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Ear fittings deficient. Clip attachement to the top of one ear the ear pendants. Dents and areas of discolouration to the back of the closed back settings. Some areas of discolouration to the detail. Peridot medium yellowish green, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. The rubies are pinkish red and well matched, Abrasion visible with magnification and a chip to one. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
