A pair of composite Victorian garnet ear pendants, circa 1880. Each designed as an oval garnet cabochon, to the circular-shape garnet scalloped surround, with articulated fringe and bow surmount. Length 5 and 5.2cms. Weight 6.9gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Central sections differ in colour to the rest, believed replacements. Garnets in closed back settings, foil back. Garnets appear a well matched medium slightly reddish purple hue, typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
