A pair of 1930's silver mounted candlesticks, each with beaded borders and a filled circular base rising to a knopped and tapering stem and campana shape socket. Hallmarked A L Davenport Ltd., Birmingham 1932/33. Height measuring 6 inches (15 cm).
Both candlesticks display general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Several small dints and bumps to both, especially around foot rims. These are larger and more noticeable on one of the sticks, which also has creases in the metal around the base of the stem and also below the socket. Remnants of wax/polish to sockets. The hallmarks and maker's marks appear a little rubbed but legible.
