BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A pair of 18ct gold sapphire and diamond earrings. Each designed as an oval-shape sapphire, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Hallmarks for London, 1976. Length 1.4cms. Weight 5.8gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Varied inclusions, some surface reaching. One diamond with a chip under a claw. Sapphires are a well matched dark blackish blue hue. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. With fixed post fittings for pierced ears. One butterfly back deficient, other possible replacement. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
