BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A nephrite jade and coral necklace. The carved nephrite idol with coral bead earrings, suspended from a coral and nephrite jade bead necklace, with polished bead highlights. Length of idol 6.7cms. Length of necklace 77.5cms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Coral untested for natural colour origin. Coral is a mottled dark reddish orange hue with areas of white. Coral beads have multiple polyp holes. Gems in good condition, minor abrasions. Nephrite jade well matched, dark flecks throughout.
