A multi-gem scorpion brooch. The vari-cut multi-gem body, to include tourmaline and garnet, with ridged tail and openwork pincers. One gem eye deficient. Length 6.1cms. Weight 5.7gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Some areas of discolouration visible to the reverse of the brooch. One gem eye deficient. Typival inclusions visible to the gemstones. Some surface abrasion visible to the gemstones. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
