BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A mother-of-pearl, synthetic sapphire and diamond pendant. The mother-of-pearl panel, carved to depict a religious figure, within a rose-cut diamond and calibre-cut synthetic sapphire pierced border. Drop deficient. Length 5.8cms. Weight 7.8gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Drop section deficient. The mother-of-pearl has light surface scratches. The synthetic sapphires have light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. The diamonds are fairly bright. Some are replacements. Width of pendant 3.3cms.
