A modern reproduction pair case pocket watch. Silver cases, spuriously hallmarked London 1837. Key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement and pierced balance cock signed Dan Pidding. White dial with Roman numeral hour markers and scene depicted a ship to the centre. Outer case 55mm.
Movement is currently functioning. Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. We believe this to be a reproduction dial as it is in such good condition. Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Hallmark appears to be spuriously stamped. This lot does not come with box or papers. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
