BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A mid-Victorian silver stilton scoop, with plain baluster shape ivory handle. Hallmarked Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall), Sheffield 1864. Length measuring 8 1/4 inches (21 cm).
The scoop displays some general wear, surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Tarnishing to silver and also some darker marks and patches and crazing to the ivory. Many deeper scratches and nicks to the silver and small dints around the ferrule. The hallmarks are clear and legible. - Shipping Info
