A mid Victorian gold gem-set ring. The twin oval-shape garnets, to the similarly-shaped garnet sides, with turquoise cabochon double spacers and textured band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1871. Weight 1.3gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Some claws are significantly worn and would benefit from attention. Band shows evidence of resize. Garnets medium redish-purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
