A mid Victorian gold foil-back emerald and diamond bracelet, circa 1860. Designed as a stylised buckle, with rectangular-shape foil-back emerald and old-cut diamond highlights, to the adjustable woven mesh bracelet. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Inner diameter 6-8cms. Weight 23gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Emeralds are foil backed Emeralds are a fairly bright green, well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
