A mid Victorian gold enamel and split pearl bangle, circa 1870. The front designed as a split pearl and blue enamel star, with cannetille and geometric surround and sides, to the plain half-bangle. Inner diameter 5.5cms. Weight 42.3gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. The enamel is in good condition with two corners lightly chipped, seen with magnification. The split pearls have typical surface blemishes with light nacre damage. Width of bangle 2.8cms, length of front panel 4.8cms.
