A mid Victorian enamel memorial brooch, circa 1870. The split pearl forget-me-not, atop a black enamel oval-shape panel, with 'In Memory Of' script scalloped surround. Length 4.8cms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Replacement base metal pin and clasp. Chips to the enamel surround. Central paste within the split pearl floral panel. Possible replacement gems. Sticky residue to reverse, possible discolouration.
