BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A mid Victorian 18ct gold, enamel and split pearl memorial brooch. Comprising a split pearl, to the split pearl accent scrolling foliate and black enamel, interwoven loop surround. Length 3.7cms. Weight 6.4gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Later safety chain, believed base metal. Glazed panel to centre of reverse. Enamel with small nicks and chips. Split pearls well matched, silvery grey hue, fair lustre. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
