A mid-twentieth century small silver salver, the shaped circular form with oblique gadrooning to rim, personal presentation engraving and crest to the centre and the whole raised on four claw and ball feet. Hallmarked Garrard & Co Ltd., Sheffield 1954. Diameter measures 10 inches (25.5 cm), weight 20 ozt (622.2 grams).'Capt. J. Morris, WRAC from Officers of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps at GHQ and BTE Middle East Land Forces on the occasion of her marriage 6th May 1955.'
The salver appears in quite a tarnished state and would benefit from a clean and polish. It displays some general wear, many surface scratches, contact marks and nicks and a few very minor surface dints. The hallmarks are clear and legible, also with impressed maker's name and address.
