BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
A mid 20th century sapphire bracelet. Designed as a series of circular sapphire collets, each within crossover marquise-shape surrounds, to the stylised bow spacers and partially concealed clasp. French assay marks. Length 21cms. Weight 14.1gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Wear to some links. Safety chain deficient. Light file marks and associated discolouration to the reverse of the clasp. Due to size and setting, unable to verify if sapphires are of synthetic or natural origin. Sapphires are a well matched deep medium blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair to good condition, most with minor abrasions two with significant abrasion across the surface. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
