BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A mid 20th century platinum diamond cocktail watch. The rectangular-shape cream dial with Arabic numerals, with single and baguette-cut diamond sides, to the single-cut diamond openwork links. Estimated total diamond weight 2.70cts. French assay marks. Length 16.5cms. Total weight 22.2gms. With case.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Diamonds individually to small too assess colour and clarity grades. Some diamonds are replacements. Light and dark inclusions can be seen under 10x magnification. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. One diamond has significant chip to table. Cream dial has discoloured and some of the Arabic numerals have worn. Glue residue can be seen dial case. Fellows does not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any timepiece offered.
