BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A mid 20th century gold sapphire and diamond ring. The square-shape sapphire line, with single-cut diamond sides, to the scrolling gallery and plain band. Accompanied by report number 5775-2929, dated 4th September 2015, from Gemmological Certification Services stating the sapphires are Basaltic deposit with no indications of heating. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Weight 3.4gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. A small area of discolouration to the inside of the band. Please see report for full details of the sapphires. Sapphires have light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. Two have small nicks to the corner. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
