A mid 20th century gold diamond ring. The brilliant-cut diamond, within an old-cut diamond surround, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct, H-I colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Weight 2gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discoloration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds bright. centre stone, is a replacement. evidence of repair work can be seen on setting one claw deficient from principal stone setting Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
