A mid 20th century gold cultured pearl and diamond cluster ring. The cultured bouton pearl, within an old-cut diamond surround, to the trifurcated shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 1.10cts. Weight 8.7gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Areas of discolouration and tarnishing to the settingsDiamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The cultured bouton pearl has a bright lustre to the top and thinner nacre to the edging, you can see the irridescense from the mother-of-pearl. Glue residue visible to the base. There are scuffs visible to the inner backing of the setting. Ring size Q.
