BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A mid 20th century diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, within an undulating surround, to the plain band. Estimated diamond weight 1.10cts, H-I colour, P2 clarity. Ring size H. Weight 2.7gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band with evidence of repair. Band with area of discolouration. Diamond fairly bright and lively. Diamond with a numerous chips and cavities to the girdle edge. Diamond with dark and light coloured inclusions to the centre of the stone. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
