BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A mid 20th century diamond, sapphire and ruby floral spray brooch.The circular-shape sapphire, ruby and brilliant-cut diamond spray, to the curved line stems, gathered by a brilliant-cut diamond ribbon. Estimated total diamond weight 1.60cts. Length 6.5cms. Weight 30.6gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and areas of discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. Pin clasp possibly a replacement at a different orientation. Sapphires and rubies have light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. Some have small chips. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
