BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A mid 20th century diamond and sapphire bracelet. The circular-cut diamond line, with calibre-cut sapphire border and scroll engraved sides, to the pierced foliate accent push-piece clasp. Estimated total diamond weight 6.50 to 7cts, I-K colour, SI1-P2 clarity. Length 18.2cms. Weight 26.4gms. With case.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds fairly well matched. Varying inclusions, some small nicks and chips to few diamonds. Sapphires are a well matched medium blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Case shows scuffs and fading tot he outside. Silk stamped 'Leysen Freres, Fabricants, Joailliers - Orfevres, Bruxelles, 28 Rue du Marche aux Poulets'. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
