A mid 20th century diamond and enamel pansy brooch. The old-cut diamond collet, within a pink and white enamel petal surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct, I-J colour, P1 clarity. Length 3.1cms. Weight 6.6gms.
Overall condition fair to poor. Significant scratches/wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. The central collet and diamond appear to gave been added at a later date. Several chips to the enamel petals. Significant glue residue visible to the reverse of the brooch. The diamond is bright, dark inclusions visible with the unaided eye.
