A mid 20th century cultured pearl and diamond bar brooch. The cultured pearl and old and rose-cut diamond sides, to the plain bar. Principal diamonds estimated total weight 0.30ct, I-J colour, SI clarity. Length 5.9cms. Weight 6.3gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Some areas of discolouration to the bar in places. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of outer diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Chips visible to a couple of the rose-cut diamonds. The cultured pearl has a yellow body colour, displaying pinks and greens. Visible scratches and blemishes to the nacre. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
