A mid 20th century coral pendant. Carved to depict two coral Asian faces, sharing a cannetille cap with rope twist chin strap. Length 4.1cms. Weight 20.7gms.
Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Two faces appear moderately happy and sad, on the comedy/trajedy theme. Coral untested for natural origin. Coral is a slightly mottled medium pinkish orange hue, some small areas of white. One large polyp hole to one side of the 'sad' face. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
