A mid 20th century Burmese ruby and diamond crossover ring. Comprising two graduated baguette-cut diamond and ruby asymmetric lines, to the tapered half-band. Accompanied by report number 20025113, dated 10th September 2015, from AnchorCert, stating that the largest ruby has an origin opinion Burma, no evidence of treatment observed. Estimated total diamond weight 1.10cts. Weight 8.4gms.
Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and small dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Individual size of most diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Rubies are a fairly well matched medium deep, moderately purplish red hue, well saturated, with fair to good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good to poor condition with minor abrasions, four smallest rubies and smallest diamond with noticeable chips. Please see report for details on the ruby. Ring size N. Stamped 950.
