A mid 20th century 9ct gold amethyst brooch. Of openwork design, the oval-shape amethyst, to the scrolling surround with bead accents. Hallmarks for Edinburgh, 1964. Length 3.2cms. Weight 8.7gms.
Overall condition good. Light scratches to setting in keeping with general wear. Amethyst medium purple hue, well saturated, with faint colour zoning.
