BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A mid 20th century 18ct gold diamond cluster ring. The old-cut diamond, within a single-cut diamond surround, to the plain band. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.75ct, tinted colour, SI clarity. Ring size L. Weight 4.3gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Principal diamond bright and lively, with yellow tint. Diamond to surround are fairly well matched. One brilliant-cut diamond replacement. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
